Dear All!
We are profoundly thankful to Linda Hartling for creating another wonderful Dignity Letter for us, full of information, all presented in dignifying beauty and with Linda's enormous artistic creativity!
Just click here and you can see all of the Dignity Letters that Linda has created since 2009.
All HumanDHS efforts are a labor of love — we are all Sharegivers! Linda has been deeply dedicated to the work of dignity for over three decades and she gives her time, energy, and loving creativity as a gift to the world. Linda wrote her doctoral dissertation on the violation of dignity — namely humiliation — in 1995, and she is the director of our global dignity family since 2003. She is like a gardener, a gardener of dignity, nurturing all people and projects that bring more dignity into this world.
We celebrate you, dear Linda!
In deep gratitude to you, dearest Linda

Dear All!
Welcome to our 16th Workshop on Transforming Humiliation and Violent Conflict, titled "Can We Teach Dignity? Becoming Lifelong Apprentices of Dignity from Childhood Throughout All Ages" at Columbia University in New York City, December 5 – 6, 2019. Our dear late Morton Deutsch has been the honorary convener of this workshop series since he convened the first one in 2003, and we wish to honor his memory by conducting this workshop also in the future.
See the invitation here: https://conta.cc/2MUKoO2. The program evolves on www.humiliationstudies.org/whoweare/annualmeeting/34.php.

Dear All!
The Chinese translation of my 2006 book Making Enemies: Humiliation and International Conflict is out in Beijing! My deep gratitude goes to the translator – for her immense dedication, for her years of labor of love that she offered as a gift to the world. The English original was honoured as one of the best academic publications in the United States in 2007.
